Adidas Vintage and its history.
Adidas, its history leaves us with beautiful vintage and retro nuggets.
Quick history of Adidas
The history of Adidas begins with Adolf Dassler on August 18, 1949. Adidas was invented at that time with the aim of providing athletes with high quality sports equipment and clothing. Today, Adidas has marked the twentieth century in vast and diverse areas. Whether in sports, fashion, or music, the German company influences styles.
Adi Dassler and his brother Rudi were at the time the first to design quality shoes made for sports activities, of which running was the most popular. In 1936, Jesse Owens, legendary American athlete, won 4 gold medals at the Olympic Games with Adidas sneakers on his feet.
After the Second World War, a quarrel arose between the two brothers and Adi left to create Adidas Original while Rudi decided to create Puma.
The two invented international sporting goods companies. The name of the Adidas brand is therefore the simple contraction of Adi and the "Das" of Dassler.
